Contrary to the ravings of religious fanatics, unscrupulous advertisers and political actors there is no quick fix, no one person, party or idea that can turn this thing around on it’s own. It’s the dirty little secret filling up the room - we actually need our philosophical opponents. One of the beautiful things about being an artist is being allowed to colour outside the lines, in fact we’re supposed to! So I wrote this for all the people that are changing their little corner of the world. Sometimes that commitment is the only thing we’ve got in common...and sometimes it’s enough.
